Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Work: The contractor agrees to perform electrical services as outlined in the agreed proposal or quotation. Any additional work not specified will require a separate agreement and may incur extra charges.

2. Pricing and Payment: All prices are quoted excluding taxes unless stated otherwise. A deposit may be required before work commences. Final payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month.

3. Access and Site Conditions: The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the worksite. Any delays caused by restricted access or unsafe conditions may result in additional charges.

4. Permits and Compliance: The contractor will obtain necessary permits unless otherwise agreed. All work will comply with local electrical codes and regulations.

5. Warrant: Workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the completion date. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, alterations, or external factors (e.g., power surges, water damage).

6. Liability: The contractor is insured for public liability and workers’ compensation. The contractor is not liable for consequential damages or losses due to delays or service interruptions.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. A cancellation fee may apply if notice is not provided. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

8. Ownership of Materials: Materials supplied remain the property of the contractor until full payment is received. The contractor reserves the right to remove unpaid materials.

9. Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches its obligations. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment for work completed to date.

10. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation or mediation before legal action is taken.
